Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time SO teacher to start in August 2026 until June 2027. We are looking for a qualified SO teacher for teaching grades 4 & 5. Please note that the position is a temporary replacement due to parental leave. Mentorship for students is included in the position.


We are looking for you who are a certified SO teacher, who loves to teach and puts the student at the center. You have a positive and professional attitude, are flexible, and show great commitment to your work. International experience and good knowledge of the English language are advantageous since English is the working language at the school. Your own teaching as a teacher from Sweden is conducted in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English.


Internationella Engelska Skolan Enskede is a school for grades 4-9 with 900 students and 70 staff members. It is a school where teachers can focus on teaching, students are given the opportunity to learn, and everyone enjoys coming to school every day. All teachers have the enriching experience of being a class mentor. The school has an international focus, and teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish. The school works to ensure that learning and knowledge are prioritized. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their own development and work environment and to respect their classmates, teachers, and themselves. IES is proud of its staff and has developed a method to create a calm and safe school environment. This allows our teachers to have more time to share their knowledge, both with students and colleagues.
